The innovative Stirling Ultracold ultra-low temperature freezers utilize a free-piston Stirling engine to achieve highly efficient storage of general laboratory materials ranging from -20°C to -86°C. Conventional ultracold freezers employ a compressor system that is highly susceptible to wear and tear and has a short useful life. The Stirling ultra-low temperature freezers do not use compressor-based or cascade refrigeration systems; they use patented free-piston Stirling engine technology that was originally developed for energy, aerospace and industrial applications before its successful commercial application in ultra-low-temperature cooling systems.

High Density SU780XLE – The Best Choice for Maximum Storage Capacity and Security
With the High-Density Rack option you can increase the storage capacity up to 700 standard 2” boxes. This is also optimal to maximize temperature stability as well as uniformity.
The High-Density Rack option is available with drawer racks. This allows you to remove a maximum of 5 boxes at the same time without burdening the remaining valuable stock with temperature fluctuations. Each drawer is numbered by laser milling.
